We are SO thankful to have had absolutely perfect weather lately.  Lucas has loved exploring outside and it is so fun for us to see him learn about the world around him.

He loves swinging!

Unless it's close to bedtime and he's a little emotionally fragile...he loves it but wants to go to sleep at the same time.

We're getting our garden ready!  Lucas was a big big help at the garden centers while we picked out some plants.

Lucas's dream come true.  This nice man at the garden center let him sit with him on the big "vroom vroom" as Lucas calls it. He was amazed watching it scoop up dirt and mulch and put it into a dump truck!

After a big rain, Lucas loved discovering dripping water and puddles!  The dirtier, the better.

We are soaking up every minute of this gorgeous weather.  We know that all too soon it will be 100 degrees, so we're dealing with the pollen and enjoying the beauty of spring time!

mountain trip

Brandon went to Baltimore for the week with some of the students from church, so Lucas and I headed to the mountains!  We got to spend some wonderful time with Kyre and my grandparents.  Lucas hadn't seen his great-grandparents since J&K's wedding, so it was so fun to see them watch him run around like a little boy!
